Here’s everything you need to know after your appointment:

✨ Facial & Sugaring Aftercare Guide
Whether you just had a facial, a Brazilian, or something in between. Your skin needs a little time to respond, reset, and rebuild. Here’s how to support it:
Keep the area clean and hands off. Avoid touching, picking, or applying unnecessary products for at least 24 hours.
Avoid heat and sweat. Skip hot showers, workouts, steam rooms, and saunas for 24–48 hours.
Skip actives and exfoliants. Give your skin 3–5 days before reintroducing retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, or scrubs.
Moisturize and protect. Stick to barrier-repairing moisturizers and apply SPF daily, even on cloudy days.
🍯 If You Just Got Sugared
Sugaring leaves your skin soft and smooth, but it’s still a form of exfoliation. Here’s how to prevent irritation and ingrowns:
Wait 48 hours before exfoliating again
Wear loose, breathable clothing to avoid friction or ingrown hairs
Avoid working out, swimming, or tanning for at least 24 hours
If redness or sensitivity lingers, apply a cool compress or calming, fragrance-free product
🌿 If You Just Got a Facial
Facials at Ryane Ashley are customized to what your skin needs, sometimes that includes deeper exfoliation, LED light therapy, enzyme masks, or high frequency. After your treatment, here’s how to care for your skin:
Stick to gentle products for at least 48–72 hours. No actives, acids, or anything that could disrupt your barrier.
Hold off on makeup, scrubs, and harsh cleansers for 48–72 hours. Let your skin breathe and reset before reintroducing anything potentially irritating.
Don’t schedule waxing, dermaplaning, or microneedling right after your facial. Give your skin at least a week between treatments to recover fully.
Stay consistent with your homecare and be patient. Some treatments, especially those involving peels, enzymes, or LED, work over time. Your results will continue to develop after you leave.
